NAPA Racing Adopt HVO Fuels

23 Apr 2025

NAPA Racing UK has joined forces with The Green Group to continue its drive towards a more sustainable future. The UK-based BTCC and Mini JCW race team have adopted HVO renewable fuels to operate their entire fleet of transport, reducing the business’s net carbon impact on the environment.

HVO renewable diesel is a fossil-free fuel used as a direct replacement for diesel in on and off-road vehicles, machinery and generators. Derived from certified sustainable raw materials, HVO cuts up to 90% of net COemissions, making it the perfect solution to meet your business’s sustainability targets.

“The BTCC has already made big statements in recent years to be the global leader in sustainable improvements and carbon neutrality for national-level motor racing championships. We, the race teams, need to support this approach and make the targets a reality. The race cars run on sustainable fuels, so why not the vehicles that take them there?

As a company, we’re always striving to be the best, to push boundaries and be more successful than our competition, whether that’s on the racetrack or in business. This move forward is an obvious one in our own business, but also enables our direct competition in the paddock to join us in this push for a more sustainable future. Through The Green Group as a road haulage business, we’re able to offer our fellow race teams on the TOCA package, along with suppliers, a simple way to benefit from the use of HVO fuels. The aim is to help the entire series, not just ourselves.”
